We will have a wine and hor'dourves reception before the gin tasting. Oxley Gin Brand Specialist, Jamie Evans, will be conducting the tasting, demonstrating creative new cocktails and offering world-renowned knowledge of this English Dry Gin.

About Jamie Evans: Jamie Evans has been working with Oxley Gin for the past 2 years, travelling extensively from shore to shore and border to border to share the innovation of Cold Distillation, a technique unique to Oxley. Before moving Stateside, Jamie worked throughout Europe in diverse roles, getting his start in the trade after witnessing the finesse of the famed LAB bartenders. “Once I saw the skill level and poetry in motion of the world’s finest bartenders, I knew I had found my calling in life. I begged them for months to give me a go, thankfully, they finally succumbed and my training with Douglas Ankrah and Will De La Praudiere began,” Jamie recalls.

After two years at LAB, Jamie worked with some of London’s best bars including Hakkasan and The Lonsdale before becoming a bar consultant for various events companies. Consulting gave Jamie the opportunity to travel to Italy, Switzerland and France before returning to London to open Bungalow 8.

Prior to joining the OXLEY team, Jamie served as a brand ambassador for U’Luvka Vodka. “Until U’Luvka, I hadn’t considered working for a brand, but working for such a small boutique label with a genuinely fabulous liquid enticed me as it was a great challenge.”

Now, Jamie serves as the Oxley Brand Specialist and Gin Historian. As one of the country’s leading authorities on Cold Distillation Jamie educates bartenders and mixologists about Oxley and teaches modern bartending techniques by hosting Oxley tastings and seminars across the country.
